About

Creativity is Spirituality is an interfaith ministry founded by Reverend April Kling to reclaim our relationships with our Creator through creative expression.

We make a daily practice of unifying our creative practices and our spiritual practices, and we generally do not distinguish between the two. We encourage ourselves and others to find personal liberation, clarity of vision, and better relationships with others as well as to our higher power, however we define that as unique individuals.

Our Eight Core Beliefs…

We believe in eight lived, experienced principles we feel may be universal:

  • Creativity is what we’re alive and here to do. We’re created to create.
  • Creativity is what connects us to the whole of ourselves: our bodies, our souls, and our spirit.
  • Creativity’s purpose is to connect us to one another, and to realize we are unique and that we each offer unique gifts, but also to lower the veil of separation and unite us.
  • Our Creator, our higher power however we define that, comes through us as our whole selves (body, soul, heart, mind, spirit, etc.) to create whatever we make.
  • Our vision is only as clear as how willing we are to express ourselves.
  • Our emotions are our “angels,” who guide the way to clearer vision, to further creativity.
  • Anything, everything can be healed through creativity/spirituality.
  • Our spirituality can be found or enhanced through the regular practice of creative expression, creative exploration, and creative experimentation, not only in what we create but also in our daily lives.

About the Founder

Reverend April Kling is an artist, musician, writer, and consultant residing in West Waterford, Ireland. She actively brings deep spiritual presence into her life and the lives of those she touches, especially to fellow creatives and those who wish to be more in touch with their creativity. She is an ordained interfaith minister and certified spiritual counselor with OneSpirit Interfaith Foundation.

Rev April's career spans over 20 years in media, marketing, and sales, and in that work, she has enjoyed a front row seat to the transformative energy available to us all in the creative process. She has witnessed homeless people use their artistic abilities to earn money and make a home for themselves. She has seen whole movements arise from conversations between artists and caring people who are passionate about making an impact on their community.

The greatest miracles Rev April has ever witnessed, however, were when individuals in her life have made a conscious choice to take responsibility for their own evolution. In her own journey, she has lovingly collected the necessary knowledge and tools to make this transformation available to anyone who is ready. Contact Rev April here.
